Edmodo is a private communication platform built for teachers and students.	Edmodo provides a way for teachers and students to share notes, links, and files. Teachers have the ability to send alerts, events, and assignments to students. Edmodo also has a public component which allows teachers to post any privately shared item to a public timeline and RSS feed.
Today’s Meet	You can set this up as a chat room for your students. It has all the benefits of Twitter, but it is a closed group. You can also access this from your cell phone, so it is a great way to engage your students in discussion through a different media. A great way for group collaboration. Encourage the room to use the live stream to make comments, ask questions, and use that feedback to tailor your presentation, sharpen your points, and address audience needs.
